Welcome to Waltz Time
Waltz Time is an all-volunteer group of dancers who have produced the usually twice-monthly waltzes at Glen Echo Park since 1995. The group has donated all net proceeds to the renovation of the Spanish Ballroom and the Bumper Car Pavilion, and to help continue Park programs. All of the waltz dances are held at Glen Echo Park, 7300 MacArthur Blvd., Glen Echo, MD 20812 in the Spanish Ballroom (SBR) or in the Bumper Car Pavilion (BCP).
In addition to social waltz dances, we offer frequent waltz classes for all levels of dancers in a variety of locations in the DC-MD-VA area. Please visit our Waltz Classes page for dates, locations, class information, and registration links.

- Sunday Afternoons: Lesson 2:45 to 3:30 pm; live music 3:30 to 6:00 pm

A Benefit Dance for Glen Echo Park in the Spanish Ballroom — This year's players for Olde Vienna are Susan Brandt, flute; Alexander Mitchell, violin/viola; Elke Baker, violin/viola; Dave Wiesler, piano; Ralph Gordon, bass.
- Lesson at 8:00 pm for fast Viennese Waltz and polka music
- Dancing to live music: 9:00 pm - midnight in the beautiful Spanish Ballroom
- Formal attire suggested, no partner required
- Included: Grand March, refreshments, dance cards
- Tickets sold at the door beginning at 7:30 pm (details TBD)
- Carousel open 8:30 - 10:30 pm (separate cost for ticket)
